As the video above describes, I had the pleasure of being offered a trip to Madison, Wisconsin to participate in the National RC&D Conference! First time on a plane, first time in a cab, fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, and the farthest east I've ever been. Not to mention, all of the people that I didn't know who recognized me and genuinely wanted to know my opinion on things. I thought that only happened when I visited my old High School!
Anyway here are a few of the photos I did manage to take when I wasn't taking video :)
Waiting to board the plane to Madison Wisconsin
Looking out at Mt. Hood
The view out the window right before we hit a Thunderstorm
Looking out the huge windows on the Manona Terrace in Madison
And the slough of pictures I took of the capitol in all of its beautiful architectural glory.
After winning the award.
My awesome second mum, who escorted me through the conference so I never got to overwhelmed by all the strangers.
After the ceremony.
Taking pictures with the National RC&D Councils President and the other award winners from the Bitterroot Valley.
The bar we went to to celebrate.
When I got home I found my business cards waiting for me. I'm a very happy camper.
And last but not least I leave you with a little sneak peak at one of the things I'm working on.
