Nausikaa
Started a new project for Digital Tools, and since we're starting our blog unit Carl (my proffessor) decided we should make use of the hybrid animals we made in photoshop for our last unit. So guess what he came up with as our assignment for our blogs? We have to make elaborate stories about the characters we made. Ha ha ha awesome idea Carl. not. But I guess its better than, I don't know, doing journal comics. Which I do kind of wish we had been assigned but *sigh* I guess I'll just have to wait till I'm actually taking Illustration classes to get that fun assignment :P ( If you're wondering what I'm referring to check out Shazzbaa's Journal Comic )
Anyway, back to my new blog. As I stated before, my new character's name is Nausikaa and she's a tragic blend of a Harpy and a Satyr (don't know what they are? google it ) and the plot in a nutshell is that her parents we're naughty and had a one night stand, the gods got pissed when daddy (the satyr) asked them to kill the child and killed daddy, mommy died giving birth to the half breed, the Fates said "uh oh this isn't gonna be good" and sent one of the Phonoi to go kill the half breed. (btw the Phonoi's name is Menelaos, hot right? ;P) But in order to kill the half breed he had to be human and when he turned human he was like "oh shit, I have emotions what the eff are these?!" and then he falls in love with Nausikaa. Together they're like "why the eff did they wanna kill you?" They go hunt down some other Phonoi, beat them up, the Phonoi is like "I didn't do it man go talk to the Fates!" and I'm going to stop now before I give away the ending that even I don't know yet :)
So be nice people and just check in every now and then and see how my horrendous creative writing skills are going :)
